Another great early chapter book with nice big print and lots of pictures to encourage the new or reluctant reader to give it a go.

In this book the narrator chats to the reader. Some like this, some don’t.

WARNING! Don’t read this if you are squeamish or dislike poo talk as this book is FULL of it!

The story starts with the beloved Mister Mack, the biscuit tester, just about to step in poo.

Wait. Wait! The story isn’t about poo. The story is about the people who put the poo on the path.

Why have the Gigglers put poo on the path if Mister Mack is so beloved?

The Gigglers look after children. And they do it very well.

They follow the children to make sure adults are being fair to them.

If they are mean to the children they get the Giggler Treatment.

Yep, you guessed it. Squish!

But what if they make a mistake?

They book is a race against time to stop Mister Mack from stepping into the poo that his foot is 10 inches, no 7 inches above. Big bold writing, funny drawings and lots of hilarious situations (not all about poo) like bowls of porridge flipping onto heads make this a great choice to entice an early or perhaps reluctant reader.
